The Enlargement Group is chaired by Andrew O'Rourke, formerly the Secretary-General of Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Permanent Representative of Ireland to the European Communities and Irish Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
About the Enlargement Group:
The Enlargement Group monitors the progress of the EU Enlargement process and analyses its implications for Ireland. It also looks at the process of Enlargement from the perspective of candidate and acceding states, the European Commission and key member states of the European Union.
