Tom Breen

Tom Breen is Director of Administration at the IIEA. Tom is responsible for a wide range of activities, including but not limited to the management of on and offsite events, health and fire safety, IT support, the IIEA house & Administration team, as well as facilities and maintenance of the IIEA building. Tom has worked in the international hospitality sector for over 18 years, 14 of which were in Management roles. Prior to joining the Institute, Tom worked as Director of Food and Beverage in Carton House Hotel and prior to that as Director of Conference and Banqueting in The Shelbourne Hotel, where he was awarded Leader of the Year in 2017. Tom also worked as a hospitality teacher in Queenstown Resort College while working and living in New Zealand. Tom holds qualifications in Hospitality Management from DIT.
