Emma Richardson is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA), specialising in EU and UK Affairs and health policy. In her role, she leads research and convenes high-level hybrid events and major conferences, including the ACCELERATE conference in 2024 and the Europe in Good Health conference in 2026, delivered in partnership with ESB and Johnson & Johnson respectively. Her research interests encompass a range of EU policy areas, including migration, climate change, health, and food fraud. Emma's analysis and commentary have been featured in national media, including The Irish Times. Prior to joining the IIEA, she completed a BA in Natural Sciences and an MSc in Development Practice, both with First Class Honours, at Trinity College Dublin.
