Cian FitzGerald
Security and Defence/Foreign Policy
Cian FitzGerald is a Researcher specialising in Defence and Security, as well as Foreign Policy analysis. His research interests include geopolitical competition and grand strategy, with a specific focus on irregular and unconventional conflict. Prior to joining the Institute, Cian completed an MSc in International Relations of the Middle East with Arabic at the University of Edinburgh. He holds a BA MOD in Classical Civilisation and English Literature from Trinity College Dublin where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Academic Achievement.
