Easy Guide to the European Parliament Elections

The European elections will take place in Ireland on Friday 7 June 2024. Irish and EU citizens resident in Ireland aged 18 or over can vote provided that they are registered to do so by Monday 20 May 2024.

The European Parliament elections take place every 5 years, and the June elections will shape the future of the European Parliament from 2024-2029.
