He has previously served as the FT's Washington Bureau chief, South Asia Bureau chief, Capital Markets editor, and Philippines Correspondent. Mr Luce has also worked as the speechwriter for the US Treasury Secretary, Lawrence H. Summers, in the Clinton administration.
