Brexit Brief 158

The latest edition of the Brexit Brief covers the seventh anniversary of the Brexit Referendum and the regret that some Leave voters feel both over the Leave vote itself, and what they perceive to be missed opportunities of withdrawing from the EU. Polling indicates that a majority of Britons would now vote to rejoin the EU, while also revealing that many of those who voted leave in 2016 remain firm in their convictions – it appears Brexit remains a majorly divisive issue in British politics. Meanwhile, in Northern Ireland, new polling from Queen’s University Belfast shows that a majority of those in the North support the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland and the Windsor Framework.
