The Windsor Framework has passed its first vote in Parliament and been formally adopted by the UK and the EU despite opposition from the DUP who are unsatisfied with the continuing application of EU laws to Northern Ireland. The Windsor Framework also was the talk of the town in Washington DC during the run up to the US Capitol’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations, with US President, Joe Biden, and Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer, among those expressing support for the new agreement.
