With all parties to the negotiations noting a significant and positive shift in the “mood music” surrounding the Protocol negotiations, another inflection point in the Brexit saga approaches: with the DUP and the ERG wing of the Tory Party again rejecting the idea of a renegotiated Protocol, preferring instead to remove and replace it, the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak may be walking a “Brexit tightrope” in seeking parliamentary support for any future deal.
