Strengthening the Single Market: An Overview of the Enrico Letta Report

In September 2023, it was announced that former Italian Prime Minister, Enrico Letta, had been tasked with writing a report on the future of the European Single Market. Following over 400 meetings in 65 European cities with hundreds of experts, Letta presented his report in April 2024. The report addresses the strengths and weaknesses of the EU and its Single Market and sets out a series of measures aimed at improving the economic resilience of the bloc.
