Aoibhín Dolan is a Researcher at the IIEA, specialising in the EU and Development. Aoibhín completed her BSc in Politics, International Relations, and Spanish at University College Dublin with First Class Honours. She spent the third year of her degree on Erasmus in Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain where she undertook her classes in Spanish. Additionally, she worked for UCD Spanish and Hispanic society as an Event Coordinator and Social Media Manager.

Prior to joining the IIEA, Aoibhín worked across various areas of the Embassy of Peru in Ireland. This included political research, communications, event management, trade promotion, and translation.
