Anne McEvoy is a Research Intern at the Institute. Prior to joining the IIEA, she completed a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) with French Law at University College Dublin, including a year of study at the Faculty of Law of the University of Strasbourg. In June 2026, she completed an MA in European Political and Governance Studies at the College of Europe.

Her master's thesis focused on maritime security and examined the securitisation of the Exclusive Economic Zones of EU Member States. Before joining the IIEA, Anne gained experience across a range of legal areas and completed work experience at the European Parliament.
