About the Speaker: 

This event was organised in conjunction with the Embassy of Germany in Ireland.  

Jantje Silomon is a senior researcher at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH), having joined in April 2019 and becoming part of the "International Cybersecurity" (ICS) team in January 2021. Previously, Jantje conducted her doctoral research on the topic of malware weaponization at the University of Oxford. She received her BSc in Computer Science from King’s College London, before spending some time in South East Asia. Upon returning to the UK, she worked in academia and industry, while also gaining an MRes in International Security and Global Governance.
