Brexit Brief 112

Edwin Poots has resigned as DUP Leader after 21 days, making him the shortest serving leader in the Party’s history. In Cornwall, world leaders turned their focus to the Protocol which became a major talking point in British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s bilaterals at the G-7 Summit. Meanwhile, Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič travelled to London for Joint Committee and Partnership Council tête-à-têtes with his UK counterpart, Lord David Frost. This edition of the Brexit Brief covers these developments, and brings together reaction from the UK, EU and Ireland.

The Brexit Brief is written by Tony Brown, IIEA Senior Fellow, on behalf of the IIEA’s UK Expert Group.
