Thursday 23 Jul | 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
In his presentation Mr Flynn will demonstrate how to build a corporate sustainability strategy which will track, evaluate, and reduce a company’s future impact on the environment. He will outline how companies can meet their sustainability goals despite the ongoing challenges that businesses face as a result of COVID-19. Mr Flynn will also explain the importance of meeting stakeholders’ expectations on reporting and validating a company’s claim to green credentials and how to embed sustainability in a business plan.
Against the backdrop of the 2030 target of reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the new corporate discourse of stakeholder engagement, Mr Flynn will use the example of Salesforce’s Sustainability Cloud, to explain how Salesforce has used and shared its technology to support their goal of driving impactful climate action.
