Decisions taken in the coming months will have a defining role in shaping the European project for the next five years. On 9 May, European leaders convene in Sibiu to discuss the future of Europe after Brexit. This will be followed by elections to the European Parliament and the adoption of the EU’s next Strategic Agenda at the European Council in June. At this critical juncture, Mr Verhofstadt will present his vision for the reform of the European project. He will also give his views on the future relationship between the EU and the UK after Brexit.
Please note that this is an external event, which will be held in the Gresham Hotel, 23 O’Connell Street Upper.
This event is open to the public as part of the IIEA’s Future of the EU27 Project, which is supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
