Applications are now invited for a showcase of innovative solutions to climate change from all disciplines. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to present their project at a major international conference.
This forum, which is co-organised by the IIEA, the French Embassy in Dublin, Trinity International Development Initiative (TIDI) and Trócaire, will take place on Monday, 5 November 2018. It will mark the second anniversary of the entry into force of the Paris Agreement.
Creative Responses to Climate Change: a Marketplace for Ideas will provide a space for dialogue, information-sharing and creativity, and will bring together key figures involved in the climate negotiations, civil society representatives and activists, and interested citizens. Opening speeches will be delivered by Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland, and Ségolène Royal, former Minister and President of COP21.
The deadline for submissions is Sunday, 7 October 2018. For more information, and to apply, please visit the website of the Embassy of France in Dublin: https://ie.ambafrance.org/Submit-your-Creative-Project-to-fight-Climate-Change
