The uncertainty created by the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union has created challenges for government and citizens in recent times, but it is the business community in the United Kingdom that stands to suffer most from the lack of clarity on the future of the EU-UK relationship. In his address to the IIEA, Paul Drechsler discussed the implications of these developments for business at the local and national level. He also discussed the CBI’s work in Northern Ireland, and how to strengthen the UK-Ireland business relationship in the future.
