Joseph CurtinJoseph Curtin is Senior Research Fellow with responsibility for climate change policy at IIEA. He is a Research Fellow at the Environmental Research Institute, University College Cork, and a Member of Ireland’s Climate Change Advisory Council. He has worked for the OECD, publishing assessments of the climate policies of Germany, Italy, Sweden, Norway and Israel, for Ireland’s National Economic and Social Council and for the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. He has a research focus on US, European and Irish climate economics and policy, climate finance, energy efficiency, and climate smart agriculture. He is a regular contributor to national and international media on climate economics and policy, including the Irish Times, the Irish Independent, RTE, Time magazine, the Washington Post, the Atlantic, and BBC World Service. He has presented at UN and OECD fora, as well as to Irish Parliamentary committees.
