Retrofit Conference

Improving the Energy Efficiency of Irish Buildings: From Policy to Practice - 24 September 2010

As part of December's budget the Minister for Finance, Brian Lenihan T.D., announced a new multi-annual National Energy Efficiency Retrofit Programme aimed at retrofitting 100,000 buildings per annum and creating thousands of jobs. The Government will bring forward an obligation on energy utilities to deliver energy efficiency measures in homes and businesses later this year. Innovative financing options to make improving the energy efficiency of buildings attractive for home owners and businesses are also on the agenda.

This conference seeks to explore these developments and their implications for industry. It will offer an invaluable opportunity for these working in the area to network with peers, policy makers, and delivery agents, as well as to identify business opportunities and best practice in a rapidly expanding sector.
