A Panel Discussion of the Highlights and the Low Points of 2010 and an analysis of Ireland's Political and Economic Outlook for 2011 with Dr. Elaine Byrne, Journalist & Political Analyst, TCD and Pat Leahy, Journalist, Sunday Business Post.

About the Speakers:

Dr. Elaine Byrne is an adjutant lecturer at the Department of political science in Trinity College Dublin and was a weekly Irish Times columnist (2008-2010), writing on Irish politics and social issues, political reform, and corruption. Her first book, “A Crooked Harp: Political Corruption in Ireland 1800-2010”, will be published in Spring 2011.

Pat Leahy is Political editor of The Sunday Business Post, Ireland’s leading financial, economic and political newspaper, and a regular contributor to radio and television programmes. He has a degree in law from University College Dublin and was a Reuters fellow at Oxford University in 2001.
