About the Speech:

Dr. Peter Poschen of the International Labour Organisation and Dr. Jonathan Healy of Forfas will explore the potential of green goods and services sector to address the twin challenges of recession and environmental degradation.

Dr. Peter Poschen will outline the global context and present the findings of the ENEP/ILO report: Green Jobs: Towards Decent Work in a Sustainable World; and Dr. Jonathan Healy will present a recently published Forfas report An Analysis of Irish Capabilities and Emerging Opportunities in the Environmental Goods and services Sector.

About the Speaker:

Peter Poschen is Senior Policy Specialist in the Policy Integration Department of the ILO. He has a long-standing interest, and some 25 years of professional experience, with the social dimensions of sustainable development.
