About this Event

29 May 2009

About the Speech:

Over the past decade the amount of money exchanged in Internet-based transactions has increased exponentially. Transactions are increasing in quantity, scale and diversity at a consistent rate as increasing numbers of people connect to myriad sites, from eBay, to iTunes, to aerlingus.com, and spend their money in the digital economy. Despite this growth in the online trading sector, there has not been a commenserate growth in the maturity and capacity of the internet payments sector. This roundtable provides a unique opportunity to engage with two leading experts in this indispensible industry.

About the Speaker:

Colm Lyon is CEO of Realex Payments, a major competitor in the Internet payments sector. Rob Corbet is a leading legal expert on technology and internet law and regulation.
