Linnar Viik, Estonia's leading Internet guru, will discuss the DDOS attacks of April/May 2007

Roundtable meeting in the Digital Futures series on the title “To E or not to E: lessons learned from the DDOS attacks against nation state”, at which Linnar Viik, the Internet guru who oversaw Estonia’s E-revolution, will discuss the DDOS attacks suffered by Estonia in late April and May 2007.

Mr Viik will speak and engage in Q&A over Skype.

About the Speaker:


Linnar Viik is Estonia’s foremost authority on Internet issues and as the advisor to the Prime Minister of Estonia on ICT was central to the Internet revolution on post-Communist Estonia. He was previously Vice-President of TELE2 International Telecommunication and Media Group.
