About the Event:

At this roundtable meeting of the IIEA Economists Group, Oliver Whelan gave a presentation and joined in a discussion on the topic of Ireland’s Experience in the Bond Market.

His presentation addressed a number of issues including the general situation  in the Euro Area Bond Market, credit ratings, investor sentiment, and Ireland's funding position heading into 2011.

Proceedings were conducted under the Chatham House Rule, however Mr Whelan has agreed to make his slides available and they can  now be downloaded from this page.
