IEA China Roundtable Discussion

About the Speech:

H.E. Declan Kelleher has been Irish Ambassador to China since 2004. On the 10th September 2007, the Institute welcomed him to speak at a roundtable event on China. As China takes its place on the international stage in the run-up to next years Olympic Games in Beijing, it is increasingly becoming an even bigger force to be reckoned with in economic, political and cultural spheres.

The Ambassador shared his views and partook in a discussion on Chinese domestic issues in the run-up to the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party next month, Ireland-China relations, EU-China relations and a brief analysis of the broader international perspective.
