About the Event:

The speakers presented the conclusions of a study group which travelled to Athens in October 2011 and met with a broad cross section of Greek society including politicians, civil servants, researchers, academics and journalists. They offered three separate perspectives on the current crisis in Greece and its implications for the European Union.

The event was chaired by Dr Paul Gillespie. The Minister for Education, Ruairi Quinn TD, made the closing remarks.
