About the Speech:

Mr Alkalaj will discuss the principles which underlie B-H's foreign policy and the key issues for B-H's international relations including accession to the EU and NATO.  This event forms part of an ongoing IIEA series of events on the Balkans in 2010, which is an election year in B-H and the 15th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords. 

About the Speaker:

Mr Alkalaj was appointed Minister for  Foreign Affairs in 2007 after serving  as B-H Ambassdor to the US, Belgium and NATO.  A graduate of the Harvard Business School, he has held senior management positions with leading engineering companies operational in the B-H energy sector.
