Keynote Address by EU Commissioner Gunther Verheugen

On Thursday 26 February the Institute of International and European Affairs hosted a keynote address by EU Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry, Günter Verheugen, at the Institute. The Commissioner will be speaking on "Doing Business in the New Economic Climate"

About the Speaker:

Günter Verheugen is a German politician, currently serving as European Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry. He is also one of five vice-presidents of the 27-member Barroso Commission.

Günter Verheugen was previously Commissioner for Enlargement in the Prodi Commission, presiding over the accession of ten new member states in 2004.
