Josephine Maguire joined SEAI in 2001 as Finance and MIS Manager having previously worked in both practice and industry as a chartered accountant. She worked to develop systems, processes and governance structures in the organisation through both its establishment as a statutory body and the subsequet growth of the organisation. In 2010 she took over the role of Programme Manager of the newly introduced National Retrofit Programme.

About the Event:

This major Institute of International and European Affairs conference, was hosted in the Croke Park Conference Centre, followed the publication of the IIEA's September 2009 report “Greenprint for a National Energy Efficiency Retrofit Programme."

The National Energy Efficiency Retrofit Programme subsequently announced in the December 2010 budget has the potential to create significant employment and enterprise opportunities in Ireland.
 

    

This conference brought together all stakeholder groups interested in:

- Ongoing policy developments

- Emerging opportunities and technologies

- Public procurement processes

- International best retrofit practice

- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.


We believe that this conference provided invaluable networking and interaction opportunities for the sector and played a roll in beginning the process of articulating a shared vision for the development of the industry.
