Ireland will be required to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its “domestic sector” by 20-30% by 2020. Given that 30% of these emissions come from the transport sector, a radical shift in policy making will be required to meet this challenge. The four speakers exploreed how the Irish transport system might meet this challenge.

About the Speakers:

•    Julie O’Neill, Secretary-General, Department of Transport
•    Harry McGeehan, Senior Economist, CIE
•    Lisa Ryan, Director of Research, Comhar SDC
•    and Colin Lim, Geography Leader of Intelligent Transport Systems, IBM
