About the Speaker:

Ms. Kristina Vaiciunaite is the Director of the Eastern Europe Studies Centre (EESC) in Lithuania. She has been running the EESC since 2006 and specialises in Eastern Europe’s regional political processes, including the situation in Belarus. She has been working at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University since 1997.

About the Speech:

In her address to the Institute, the Director of the EESC discussed the current situation in Belarus. The EESC monitors and researches political, economic, and social developments in Eastern Europe, with a current special focus on Belarus.
