About the Speaker:

Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarunas is Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Prior to his appointment as Political Director, Ambassador Bajarunas held a number of senior positions within the MFA of the Republic of Lithuania, including Director of Europe Department. He also served in the Lithuanian missions in St. Petersburg and NATO headquarters in Brussels.

About the Speech:

Ambassador Bajarunas addressed a roundtable on the priorities of the Lithuanian chairmanship of the OSCE. This event follows the recent OSCE summit in Asdana, Kazakhstan, on 1-2 December 2010 and is of particular interest because Ireland will take over the chairmanship of the OSCE in 2012.
