Power Struggles and Portfolio Overlaps at the European Commission
24 Aug 2010A significant portfolio reshuffle at the European Commission has been complicated by major financial challenges, new Lisbon Treaty processes and institutions, and an unprecedented overlap of responsibilities among Commissioners. An article published on the Euractiv website yesterday provides a good overview of the issues six months after the "Barosso II" Commission took office. Read it here.
