Catherine Day on the EU in 2012
05 Jan 2012European Commission Secretary General Catherine Day visited the IIEA today where she gave an insightful and wide ranging address, focusing on three key areas – the emerging economic governance architecture of the Union, the future shape of the EU (specifically the tension between the Community and intergovernmental methods of decision making) and the negotiations on the 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework (the EU's long-term budget).
