Developing a Knowledge City Region

About the Speech:

Martin Murphy, Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard Ireland, will speak at a Digital Futures lunchtime seminar on Wednesday 6 February 2008 at 12.45 pm at the Institute of International & European Affairs.

Mr Murphy, will speak on the Dublin Chamber of Commerce report entitled ‘Developing a Knowledge City Region’, addressing digital competitiveness and associated needs in the areas of skills, infrastructure, and productivity.

Mr Murphy’s presentation will examine means to transform Dublin into a leading global Knowledge City Region by 2012.

This meeting will continue the Institute’s programme on Our Digital Future, which has included presentations by Fabio Colasanti, Linnar Viik, and Larry Sanger.
